educator workshops
Teachers are often told to engage students in conversations about difficult topics, without a structure or a plan. Our newest workshop can help.
Preparing students for an interconnected future has never been more urgent. The Global Cities Educator Workshops offer a research-backed, interactive experience that can help K-12 teachers identify, measure, and nurture key elements of global competency in any classroom around the world.
New! “Dialogue for Global Understanding,” offered on February 26, 10-11 am ET or February 27, 7-8 pm ET, will help educators teach respectful communication. This free, interactive Zoom workshop presents a Structured Dialogue activity that helps students listen respectfully to one another and synthesize different perspectives when discussing complex global issues. Participants will meet educators around the world, learn to assess student communication skills, and leave with new digital materials and a plan to customize the lesson for their own students.
All K-12 classroom educators are welcome. No charge for this interactive Zoom workshop. Register today.
